Designed by international golf legend Greg Norman, Champions Gate is truly one of America's most distinctive golf challenges featuring two distinct 18-hole layouts, the National Course and the International Course. Champions Gate is a unique world-class golf experience with both courses in tournament playing conditions year around. Greg Norman has designed the National Course as a classic American-style layout that rolls gently through 200 acres of southern woodlands and wetlands while the more difficult International course, one of the highest rated golf courses in Florida, has the look and feel of an "Australian links" course with a wild windswept appearance, devilish bunkers and small slick greens. No matter your skill level, Champions Gate is a "must play" experience. The quality, beauty, and challenge of Champions Gate will keep you coming back again and again.

Since 2000 Champions Gate has been the world headquarters of the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. The academy teaches everyone from PGA champion Ernie Els to weekend golfers looking to improve and polish their game. The Champions Gate golf facility hosts more than 300 golf tournaments annually and is the site of the nationally televised Del Webb Father-Son Challenge, a four-day event to determine the best father/son team in golf. The 36,000 square foot clubhouse features a fully equipped pro shop and full service banquet facilities that can accommodate up to 300 guests.

Located just a few minutes south of Walt Disney World directly off Interstate 4, Champions Gate is more than a golf facility; it's a master planned community with town homes and condominium residences surrounded by shops and restaurants. Standing tall at the center of the community is the flagship of the Omni Hotels, The Omni Orlando Resort at Champions Gate, a 730-room luxury resort hotel that draws an international clientele. At completion, the 1500-acre community of Champions Gate is expected to have 2,864 hotel rooms and contain more than 2,000 residences.
